To help UK companies who are considering attending or applying for artists to perform at showcases at midem or SXSW, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and the ‘British Music Partnership’ organisations are working with regional partners around the UK to deliver a series of briefing sessions including. Come along and find out:
- what goes on at midem and SXSW – which event is right for you and are you ready
- what the opportunities are and how to prepare for the event
- how to apply to to showcase or attend
- what support is available
The events will include briefing/panel session including presentations from Javier Lopez (MIDEM) and Una Johnston (SXSW), Phil Patterson (UK Trade & Investment) and Philippa McEvoy (UK Trade & Investment) plus a Q&A followed by a networking session which will provide those attending with the opportunity to speak directly with each of the event representatives. These events are free to attend but places may be limited so please apply early to avoid disappointment.
